Oh, THAT List!

The last time I went to Universal Studios was last year with my aunt, uncle, and cousins from the Philippines. I had another day for free, and went with John on Monday.

John bought an annual pass (something I need to do), and we enjoyed the day together at Universal Studios :D

Oh yeah, I got to hang out with Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!

Saturday afternoon, I went hiking with John in the Winding Way Trail of Malibu, CA.

I hiked through the woods of the canyon & climbed up the rocks to the very top.

See how beautiful the view is! You can see the ocean from there, and the mist from the waterfall would float up to your face.

This is John & I at the very top. He was my trail guide for the day :)

What did you do this weekend?

Saturday afternoon, I went hiking with John. He took me to the Winding Way Trail in Malibu, CA, where there is this waterfall:

I was playing with the water, but it looks like I’m basking in the power of the waterfall a little bit too much… 

The water was freezing, but once inside the cave, you could see a double rainbow from the reflection from the water. The sun had hit it perfectly! It was the best way to end the hike :)

I made about a dozen or so Nutella Swirl Cookies yesterday… They are delicious!

I gave half a dozen to Amy & Jared, and my other roomie & her boyfriend had a couple as well :)

If I bake for you, it is a sure sign that I care about you.

On Wednesday, we held a nutrition workshop for the middle school students that I mentor.

The facility decided to order like 7 giant boxes of chicken, picadillo, & plain bean and cheese full-blown burritos from Acapulco. The kids & parents that went only ate 4 boxes. We made to-go boxes & plates for the parents, & the other mentors, yet somehow I ended up taking 8 plates & a tin pan home.

I asked my friends to help me consume them, because I do not like to see good food go to waste. Thank goodness, Danny came to the rescue! Somehow, we managed to reach the bottom of the pan- YAY!

But look how much more is left!

Oh well, now I know what I’m having for lunch today & tomorrow :/

Danny & I came to the conclusion that since I thought about it my Portfolio, then that means that I have started it :)

I am hesitant to cross this off right now, but to be honest, I am much more happier than I ever was!

I finally gathered enough courage, & thanks to a little mutual disregard from his side, he & I are no longer together. And I am fine with it. Granted, he still texts me here & there, but I have not seen him since. I do wish him the best, though…

Not being with him has presented other opportunities. I feel so much more free! I get to spend all my time, money, & effort on ME. It is a wonderful feeling :)

Also, it has enabled me to reconnect with some new, & old, friends. I am enjoying life much more.

I have a long way to go, but this is definitely a start… The future is looking brighter.

So, I’m an idiot & I totally lost my list of 400 things to do… :C FAIL!

But that’s okay, because I have just turned 23 back in October & thought, so much has happened (& is in the process of happening…) that well, I’ll just make a new list!

This time, I’ll be smarter & save a back up copy of it & my plan is to finish by the time I’m 24 :D

So, here I go!
